How to become an FBI agent

There is no set degree that a person needs to be a Federal agent. However, there are certain degrees that are looked at as being very important. Common degrees for going into the FBI field are computer forensics, information security, computer crime, biology, and criminal justice. The only certainty is that you must have a 4 year degree to be able to apply as a agent and 3 years of experience.

The Federal Bureau has been active for more than 100 years. It has recruited some of the best people to protect this country. Whether you start out as a detective or criminal investigator the bureau doesn’t discriminate. As long as you are the best of the best you are able to become one of them.
